Information Design

Information is only as powerful as its presentation. This course shows how to transform raw data into meaning, clarity, and story. You will learn the principles of structure, context, and narrative that make information easier to understand and act upon.

What You’ll Learn
  1. Anatomy of information: structure, scale, and encoding
  2. Telling with context: social, temporal, and spatial framing
  3. Choosing the right visual: matching data types with forms
  4. Framing insights through emphasis and comparison
  5. Narrative visualization: sequencing, pacing, and intention
Why This Matters

Strong information design builds trust, improves decision-making, and enables people to engage with complex material. Whether you are designing dashboards, reports, or data stories, these skills help you move beyond charts to communication.
